El Master está adscrito al Departamento de Automática, Ingeniería Electrónica e Informática Industrial de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y participan profesores de los siguientes grupos de investigación reconocidos por la UPM o por el CSIC:
Además de este grupo de profesores en el desarrollo de las tareas académicas colaboran otros pertenecientes a otras instituciones.
Especial atención tiene el programa en invitar anualmente a profesores de instituciones, casi siempre extranjeras, de alto prestigio.
